Serena William full name is Serena Jameka Williams. She was born on September 26, 1981, in Saginaw, Michigan, United States of America. She is the daughter of proud parents Richard Williams and Oracene Price. She was the youngest in a family of seven members. Her family moved from Saginaw to Compton, Los Angeles. She was raised there, but the environment was not for kids to be raised there. It was a rough and violent neighborhood, with gunfires.
Her father Richard was a fan of tennis and often played tennis with his kids. Serena was as equally interested in tennis as his father was. She started playing tennis at the early age of four with her other sister Venus. They were coached by her father and later attended the tennis academy of Rick Macci to enhance their skills.
When Serena was four and a half years old, she faced her first match. Later Serena William tennis matches began to increase. Her journey in tennis began and in the course of the next 5 years, amazingly she won 46 out of 49 tournaments she participated in.
