Greta Thunberg is a very young environmental activist who suffers from a diseases of multiple disorders. At her young age, she has given a major contribution in addressing the issues of climate change, inspiring many people throughout the world.
Greta is also declared an environmental activist. She has started many moments and strikes to solve the issues regarding climate change. She has also given speeches in several places warning people about their roles in nature conservation. Greta has also been awarded many awards during her venture.
Greta Thunberg family
Greta was born on 3rd January 2003. Born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. Her mother, Malena Ernman is an opera singer who has also participated in the former Eurovision Song Contest. Her father Svante Thunberg is an actor and a scientist who discovered the model of the greenhouse effect. He received the Nobel Prize for Chemistry due to his valuable contribution in 1903. She is the eldest child and has a small sister Beata Thunberg.
Her parents are supportive of her campaigns. Even though they were worried about her activities initially, and did not support her. But they can be seen standing with her now.

Even though Greta lived her childhood in peace, she was diagnosed with several types of diseases related to mental issues later on. She started her journey as an environmentalist in 2011 when she was just 8 years old. She was deeply affected by how no one was doing anything to protect nature.
Greta’s health suffered deeply after she lost her appetite and faced massive weight loss. As for her disease, she has diagnosed with Asperger syndrome; a developmental disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and selective mutism. She even went through depression for 3-4 years after she first heard about the news of climate change. After she was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome, she stopped talking and felt urges to speak only when necessary.
Finally, Greta couldn’t resist herself and started protesting to take charges of climate change. In August 2018, Greta began school strikes and started speeches in several places. She skipped her school to camp out in front of the Swedish Parliament carrying a pamphlet that said “Skolstrejk för klimatet (School Strike for Climate) “. Slowly but steadily, her act of bravery and persistence inspired 4 million people to join the largest climate demonstration.
Not only this, but she has also even persuaded the great leaders, mayors as well as presidents to provide environmental justice. The largest climate demonstration took place on September 20, 2019, for a global climate strike. The demonstration had massive participation of people. The term “climate strike” increased in its usages by a hundredfold and because of this, the term “ climate strike” was declared as word of the year by lexicographers in Collins Dictionary.

Among those people, once there was an interesting conflict between Greta and Donald Trump, President of the United State of America.
On 12th December, Donald Trump made a statement about Greta on Twitter where we can clearly see he loathes Greta whereby he said “So ridiculous. Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!”
